dollars with this workshop and mat your own photos and art work with
a few simple tools.
You will learn how to achieve quality mat cutting results by overcoming common problems like over cuts and under cuts. You will learn how to eliminate patchy cutting through. You will learn the professional technique for cutting foolproof double mats, how to cut a stepped corner mat, oval mats, circular mats and more. You will learn how to cut a Basic Single Beveled Mat. You will learn what your first objective in mat cutting is. You will learn a little known but critical fact about mat board. You will learn that you do not need expensive equipment to cut your own mats right in your own home. You will learn what causes over cuts and how to conquer over cuts. You will learn blade depth control. You will learn how easy it is to make double mats. All equipment and material provided. You will receive hands-on instruction and you will go home with at least 4 mats you cut yourself. You only need to bring yourself, a bag lunch if you like and no open toe shoes please.
