Howe Caverns Look to the far right side of the page at the bottom of the list for more photos. "Visitors begin their journey by elevator, traveling 156-feet below the earth's surface, where the temperature is an ever-constant 52° F. Highlights include The Winding Way, with its curves and corners; Titan's Temple, with ceilings 55 feet high; and the world-famous boat ride on the underground Lake of Venus." See NY Natural Wonders where you will also find Ausable High Falls Gorge and the Natural Stone Bridge and Caves. Webshots album. |
