Troy Bilt has been a long trusted company making many quality gardening machines. We'd been without a running brush cutter for about 2 years when Randy went out to buy one.

It seemed a good unit and worked well for about a week. So he takes it to our local (Abilene) repair place, Hamilton Supply. They had it for week after week just saying it was not ready yet.

Randy had to go into the shop and demand the unit. Then they admit that they cannot fix it and had a reply back from the company saying that it could not be fixed. Say what? There were no parts manufactured to do any repairs. The company replaced the unit.

That's what comes from having a product made in Mexico. There is no fixing it and if it arrives without the necessary parts, return it to the store ASAP.

Of course now, we have a Troy Bilt piece of garbage although new, it cannot be repaired, ever.
